About

Established more than a decade ago, Bayside Wound and Stomal Therapy Services is a world-class private practice providing outpatient wound care, stoma therapy, breast cancer care and diabetes education.

Practice founder and director Karen Wendland is a Division One Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner with postgraduate qualifications in these areas, and it is her lifelong dedication to improving patient management that inspired the clinic’s inception.

Karen’s extensive hospital and clinical experience combined with her significant contributions to education both nationally and internationally have seen our practice leading the way in this complex area of medicine.

In addition to the excellent services and support delivered to our valued patients, the provision of educational sessions to health professionals seeking to expand or refresh their understanding of wound and stoma care remains a strong focus of the business.
